For the Hindus,crucial practices like vegetarianism, morning baths, and Yoga promotehealth and hygiene (Craigie,2010).As such, faith-based institutions can assist individuals to livehealthier, longer, and more satisfying lives through encouragingbehaviors, which can prevent diseases and premature deaths because ofchronic non-communicable infections like strokes, cancer, diabetes,and heart attacks, among others.

Severalindividuals stick to religion for their souls’ sakes, but ittranspires that regular involvement in faith-based events isbeneficial to the mind and body, too. Religion can make individualshealthier and happy in several ways. Providing people with religiousreminders makes them have a feeling that they have littlejurisdiction over their lives – however, it as well gives themextra capabilities of resisting the junk food temptations. Religious persons have a tendency of beinghappier than the non-believers are. Joining others at a temple,synagogue or church enables individuals to develop close ties,networks, and, eventually, more satisfaction of life.
