Theopportunity to undertake MATH110 as a subject was vital when it cameto enhancing the understanding of different concepts regardingmathematics. The unit was helpful for the insights it providedregarding various aspects related to math. The journey through thesubject was characterized by both positive and negative experiences.I must admit that I found some aspects of the course more interestingthan others. Notably, I liked the concept taught regarding theparabola effect. It was easy to comprehend since I was able to relatethe rationale behind the loss of energy by a ball when it hit theground. However, understanding the calculation part entailing ofsections such as velocity and time was a challenge. I believe throughthe use of many examples it would be possible to comprehend how todo the calculations with ease. Future classes should entail manypractical examples to enhance the ability to understand complexsections of the subject. Further, it would be effective to increaseconsultation hours to make it possible for students to discuss withthe instructor on sections they would wish to seek clarification.
